Join us in celebrating the Central Bikol Wiktionary 2nd birthday! The project will be a 2-day series of edit-a-thons in Central Bikol Wiktionary, focusing on adding new word entries, definitions, and sentence examples.
Objectives[edit]
- Recruit new editors for the Central Bikol Wiktionary in youth demography
- Increase skills for existing editors in defining word entries suited to a dictionary format
- Add word entries to reach the 5,500th word after the two-day edit-a-thon
Activities[edit]
There will be a series of edit-a-thons, and each event will focus on different sub-tasks. First will be a tutorial on basic editing on Central Bikol Wiktionary; second will be adding word entries that still need to be available on the local Wiktionary, including their definition; and lastly, will provide examples through sentences on the usage of the new word entry.
