У Вікіпедії розміщено понад 1,9 мільйона біографій. Менше 20% з них стосуються жінок та небінарних людей. Цитування, зображення та погляди жінок і небінарних людей мають аналогічні прогалини у Вікіпедії. Якщо Вікіпедія хоче стати сумою людських знань, це потрібно змінити. З таким великим гендерним розривом ми далекі від досягнення цієї мети. Міжнародний жіночий день – це важливий момент, щоб нагадати собі про гендерний розрив для жінок та всіх недостатньо представлених груп і відновити наші зусилля щодо забезпечення представництва всіх людей.
