Community meeting

On 20 March, we will have our first 2026 Wikimedia LGBT+ community meeting. This meeting is open to all members of the community. This will be a special meeting, as we will be joined by Bernadette Meehan, the Chief Executive Officer of the Wikimedia Foundation.

And Lucy Moore, a member of the Global Resource Distribution Committee, will present the GDRC to our community.

How to participate

1. Log in to Meta Wikipedia (this website) with your Wikimedia username. If you don’t yet have one, you can create an account here. Whenever possible, link your Wikimedia account to an email address so you can easily receive notifications. If you prefer not to, please write to communitywmlgbtorg to let us know. If your Wikimedia Meta User is not connected to an email, you won't be receiving the information properly. So, please let us know, and we will send the information to you via email.

2. Once logged in, register for the event using the Event Registration Tool at the top of this page. Click the blue button labeled "Register for event". You may register either publicly or privately to preserve your anonymity as participant.
