Event:Feminism and Folklore 2025 in Lagos

The Wikimedians of Lagos User Group aim to address the gender gap on Nigerian Pidgin Wikipedia by creating and improving content related to feminism, Folklore and women biographies as part of the global Feminism and Folklore 2025 Writing Contest. We want to emphasize underrepresented voices in Lagosian culture while preserving the richness of the Nigerian Pidgin language. By creating and improving content on Nigerian pidgin Wikipedia, we aim to amplify the voices and contributions of women and address the gender gap in knowledge.
