With the aim of developing the skills of Ivorian Wikipedians, a hackathon is being organised for them on 11 and 12 october 2024 in Abidjan.

Objectives

Main objective

Activating a Wiki Mentor Africa working group within Wikimedia Côte d'Ivoire

Specific objectives

• Training 20 Wikimedians to use the Media Wiki Action API
• Familiarise 20 Wikimedians with the design interface of the GAWA application and other Wikimedia technical projects.
• Join the Wiki Mentor Africa project.

Expected results

• 20 Wikimedians have been trained to use Mediawiki Action API
• 20 Wikimedians are familiarised with the design interface of the GAWA application and other Wikimedia technical projects
• We have joined the Wiki Mentor Africa project..
