Project Overview
This program is one of the Dagbani Wikimedians User Groups' support for community engagement activities for its sister language communities. The program is intended to empower the Dagaare Wikimedia Community members to scale up their contributions to the Dagaare Wikipedia and other Wikimedia projects aside from Wikipedia.
PROJECT GOAL
The goal is to have an intensive training for 15 dedicated community members to contribute to other Wikimedia Projects (Wikidata and Wikimedia Commons) in addition to Wikipedia
Team & Roles
The following team members will assist in different ways to ensure the success of the events.
- Alhassan Mohammed Awal will coordinate the entire project and play a lead role in the training sessions for Wikidata and Wikimedia Commons
- Zakaria Tunsung will be in charge of communications and co-facilitating the Wikipedia refresher training session.
- Kuukye will be responsible for organizing the participants to ensure they are present at the center on time.
- Daara Original will handle the logistical needs of the event including securing the venue.
