Introduction
[edit]Interlinguistic Intercultural Collaboration on Wikimedia is a campaign aimed at fostering collaboration between Wikimedia youth. The idea emerged after youth gatherings in Prague in the Wikimedia Youth Conference. The campaign bridges gaps between languages and cultures by presenting the differences and explaining how our varieties strengthen us.
Goal
[edit]- Explore different cultures and write about them in different languages.
- Increase the number of articles related to culture in different languages
- Improve the leadership skills of younger people who will lead their communities in this campaign
- Create a friendly space to wikimedia youth, especially newcomers, to collaborate and make friends and networks (not only in in their local community but also with others in the wiki globe)
- Keep the connections between wikimedia youth after the conference!
