Wikipedia

  1. Create/translate Abron/Bono Wikipedia article of any folklore and Feminism related topic.
  2. The article must be of readable prose of about 400 words or roughly 10 sentences.
  3. The Wikipedia article must have at least 4 references.

Wikidata

  1. Create/translate Abron/Bono Wikidata item of any folklore and Feminism related topic.
  2. The item must be of readable prose of about 4 to 5 statements.
  3. The Wikidata item must have at least 1 reference to each statement.

Commons

  1. Snap and Upload photos to Wikimedia Commons of about any folklore and Feminism related topic.
  2. Add Captions/description in Abron/Bono translations
  3. Add Category:Introducing Wikipedia to Bono Wikimedians Community through Folklore and Feminism to each uploaded photo for easy tracking

Prizes

Thank you for participating in the Feminism and Folklore writing competition on our wiki. We congratulate you in joining and celebrating our cultural heritage and promoting gender equality on Wikipedia.

To encourage boost for the contributions of the participants, the international team is offering prizes for Feminism and Folklore local prizes. Each Wikipedia will have three local winners:

  • First Prize: GH₵ 1000
  • Second Prize: GH₵ 800
  • Third Prize: GH₵ 600
  • Best Female Contributor Prize: GH₵ 400
  • Best Photo Uploads: GH₵ 200

Rules

  • Create/Expand an article to minimum of 4000 bytes or 400 words.
  • The Article should be created or expanded between December 3, 2025 to February 1, 2026
  • The article must be translated to a readable quality in Abron/Bono language
  • References must be aligned as how the translated article is.

How to Participate in the article translation

The articles in the table are in two categories English, and Abron/Bono

Open the Englsh articles and translate the content to the best of your ability to its corresponding Abron/Bono version.

PLEASE NOTE: This might not be word to word translation but at least closest in meaning.
