Event:Jukun Wikipedia Outreach
The Jukun Wikipedia Outreach is an in-person event being planned by the proposed Nenzit Wikimedians User Group to recruit a new Jukun-speaking wiki community, especially those from the Wapan-speaking background, in which the Wikipedia edition aims to be based, to champion the translation of articles in the Wikimedia Incubator and Translatewiki into that language.

How to participate
[edit]- Log in or Create a New Account.
- Register yourself for this event.
- Go to the top of this page and click "Register for event" to register yourself after confirming that you've logged in already.
- Attend the event in person or stream Live on YouTube on Friday, 20, Saturday, 21 & and Sunday, 22 February 2026.
- Please join our Telegram group and Facebook page to get live updates and discussions.

- Friday, 20 February 2026:
- Create new accounts for those without.
- Add or improve content in the Jukun Wikipedia Incubator.
- Add new members to the Jukun Wikimedia User Community on Meta-Wiki.
- Saturday, 21 February 2026:
- Add or improve content in the Jukun (Wapan) Wikipedia Incubator.
- Add or improve Jukun (Wapan) language content (Most important MediaWiki messages) in the Translatewiki, click here.
- Sunday, 22 February 2026:
- Continue adding or improving articles in the Jukun Wikipedia Incubator.
- Create awareness on the Akai script for Nenzit languages.
