The Kiwix Phase 2 Online Workshop aims to build on the success of the first phase by equipping participants with advanced skills and knowledge on effectively using Kiwix as an offline knowledge access tool. This workshop will focus on hands-on training, ensuring participants can navigate the Kiwix platform, download and manage content packages, and provide offline educational resources in schools and community learning spaces. Additionally, the session will explore best practices for integrating Kiwix into educational settings, highlighting real-life examples and innovative strategies to maximize its impact

Physical Workshop

[edit]

We successfully conducted a physical session on two schools

1. Benjamin Mkapa High School - Dar Es Salaam

Benjamin Mkapa High School is a well-known educational institution in Tanzania, named after the Benjamin William Mkapa — who was the third President of the country. The school is known for its commitment to quality education and is one of the many institutions striving to enhance learning experiences for students across the country.

2.Kajengwa Primary School - Zanzibar

This is a primary schools located in Makunduchi Zanzibar, with its limited educational resources and being a little bit away from town makes it hard to have reliable internet connections for students to use, and so we believe this program will be of greatest help.
