🧭 Project Overview

This ongoing initiative aims to improve representation of historically marginalized UK figures on Wikidata. Through research, data enrichment, and community engagement, we aim to make UK history more inclusive, accessible, and structured for global audiences.

🎯 Goals

🏛️ Enrich 500–800 underrepresented Wikidata entries.
🧠 Organize regular online edit-a-thons and workshops.
🤝 Collaborate with historians, institutions, and community groups.
🌍 Increase public access to reliable and diverse historical data.

🛠️ Activities

Research & Identification: Locate figures from underrepresented backgrounds.
Data Enrichment: Add biographical details, occupations, achievements, and historical context to Wikidata.
Community Events: Host edit-a-thons and workshops.
Reporting: Track progress and share updates publicly.
