Event:SheSaid 2025 in Senior Citizens Network
Introduction
[edit]For the third time, the Wiki for Senior Citizens Network will participate in the #SheSaid 2025 Campaign, contributing to addressing and bridging the knowledge gap through the Wikiquote project. Their participation will bring more quotes from notable but underrepresented female authors, activists, political leaders, industrialists, and captains of various industries, as well as quotes from diverse published materials, including archival materials that are not yet available in the digital space. This will revive intergenerational knowledge and add valuable historical insights held by older generations to the body of available open knowledge. The project aligns with Wikimedia’s gender gap initiatives, ensuring a more balanced representation of knowledge and inclusivity.
