Sual is popularly known as the town with the largest coal-fire powered plant.It is also known for its fish wealth being the largest producers of milkfish in the country. It is a first class municipality in Pangasinan. But, other than energy capital,Sual is focusing on becoming a premium eco- tourism destination with "Little Batanes" and other spots.
Join us in continuously celebrating Wikipedia's 25th birthday by joining Sual Wikipedia tan AI parad Senior High Workshop. We will focus on articles pertaining to Sual, outstanding women from Sual in celebration of the Internatioanl Women's Month and improve Pangasinan Wikipedia. We will also learn about how humans can collaborate with Artificial Intelligence and how senior high school school students learn the ethical use of technology and AI.
Objectives
[edit]- Recruit new editors for Pangasinan Wikipedia among the senior high school category.
- Increase skills for existing editors in Pangasinan or Ilocano language in order to preserve the local language, arts and cultural heritage of the Municipality of Sual.
- Introduce the young Sualinians to the rich world of open knowledge
Activities
[edit]Participants will be introduced to the various Wikipedia projects
They will be assigned articles to edit or translate in Pangasinan/ Ilocano Wikipedia
