The 11th Tyap Wikimedians User Group Community Meeting would be held online. This meeting will be held on Saturday, 10 January 2026. It will center on highlighting key achievements from the past year, 2025, and the upcoming events of the year 2026, especially those of the first quarter of the year beginning with the Swánga̱lyiatwuki-WikiWoordenboek Joint Wiktionary Editing Part 3.

This meeting could not be held on the said date due to a serious network challenge. It had to be postponed till the next day, Sunday, 11 January 2026. Other details remaining the same.

  • The Swánga̱lyiatwuki-WikiWoordenboek Joint Wiktionary Editing Part 3 project is aimed at developing the Tyap Wiktionary (Swánga̱lyiatwuki) and adding contents of the Dutch language into it, as well as adding those of Tyap to the Dutch Wiktionary (WikiWoordenboek).
  • Our 2026 Tyap Wiki Bootcamp session is going to be different from what we had in 2025 and 2024.
  • This year, we are going to have the Mentor Me! session in two parts.
  • We hope to keep expanding the lexemes of our languages on Wikidata to document these languages.
  • The Tyap Wikimedians User Group shall continue to expand Wikimedia activities across the Nenzit region and the Nigerian Middle Belt.
