The Wikimedia Foundation has released the first draft of the Wikimedia Foundation Annual Plan (2025-2026) , focusing on Product & Technology priorities. This episode delves into how the Foundation gathers and incorporates community feedback into its planning process. Guest host Florence Devouard—longtime Wikipedian, former WMF Chair, and Co-Executive Director of Wiki In Africa—will lead a discussion on:

  • The evolution of feedback collection methods
  • Variations in engagement across different communities
  • Barriers to participation and strategies to overcome them
  • How to effectively contribute your input to shape the final plan

  • Florence Devouard: A Wikipedian since 2002, a former Chair of Wikimedia Foundation and a founding member of Wikimedia France. She is the Co-Executive Director of Wiki in Africa. Since 2013, Florence is the co-leader on projects related to Wikipedia and Africa, such as Wiki Loves Africa
