Event:WFHR 2025 in Nigeria Organizers Training
Overview
[edit]The WikiForHumanRights Organizers Training is a capacity-building program designed to support community leaders and volunteers who are planning to organize WikiForHumanRights 2025 activities in their regions. The training will provide practical guidance on event management, coordination, and documentation within the Wikimedia community.
Organizers will learn how to set up campaign pages, register their events, and connect their local efforts with the global WikiForHumanRights campaign, themed “Our Right, Our Future, Right Now.”
Objectives
[edit]- Strengthen the skills of community organizers to plan and deliver impactful events.
- Provide step-by-step guidance on creating and managing Meta-Wiki event pages.
- Train organizers on setting up event registration pages and linking them to the global campaign hub.
- Introduce tools for event tracking and reporting, including Outreach Dashboards.
- Foster collaboration among organizers across different Wikimedia communities.
