About the event
[edit]The aim of this event is to guide community members through the process of enhancing Wikipedia articles to achieve Featured Article (FA) status.
In this session, Harry will introduce the fundamentals of a Featured Article and then offer personalised support to up to three community members. Those selected will receive dedicated advice tailored to their specific articles or questions, helping them progress toward FA status. This session will be useful for anyone wanting to improve their Wikipedia articles.

If there is further demand for customised guidance on getting articles to FA we will organise additional sessions.
About the presenter
[edit]Harry Mitchell has been editing the English Wikipedia since 2009 and has written over 40 featured articles, mostly on humanities subjects including history and architecture. He can advise on sourcing requirements, copy editing, and other factors for a successful FA nomination.

[edit]Sandbox Sessions are volunteer-led events organised and supported by Wikimedia UK. All are welcome to attend! These workshops are intended to be a chance for our community to learn about different areas of the Wiki-verse, find out something new, and connect with other Wikimedians. They're also an opportunity for our community to share their interests with other Wikimedians!
