[edit]The Wikimedia User Group Nigeria – Akwa Ibom Network One-Year Anniversary & End-of-Year Capacity Building Workshop is a celebration of our first year together. The event features a focused capacity-building session to equip members with key Wikimedia skills, followed by networking, fun activities, and a collective end-of-year celebration to strengthen our community.
Project scope
[edit]The project will introduce new participants to the Wikimedia movement and prepare the community for impactful contributions in the coming year. The training will focus on both minor edits and article/item creation; covering how to create and improve Wikidata items by adding statements and references, as well as how to add sections and references on Wikipedia, with emphasis on African biographies and health-related articles.
