Abstract/description

In this communication, I wish to share my experience no longer as a mentor but as an interpreter during events where language can very often be a barrier for communities of different languages, particularly English and French. Beyond interpretation, we could also see how to use translation to contribute to Wikipedia.

Relationship to Wiki skills or to the theme

Participants will see the importance of interpretation and, further, translation in Wiki projects. Let's imagine an article written in any language, unknown to the locals, translating it will give contributions to the Wikimedian and add knowledge for the community.
