Wiki Loves Africa is a photographic, video, and audio contest where anyone across Africa can contribute media that relates to that year's theme to Wikimedia Commons) for use on Wikipedia and other project websites of the Wikimedia Foundation. Through this This Year`s Theme Rites and Rituals'', we invites participants to explore both market and riverine communities that contribute significantly to Nigeria’s cultural and economic life by documenting, through photos, videos, and audio recordings, two unique expressions of Nigeria’s living heritage: market rituals in Kogi State and riverine rituals in Benue State.
