Event:Wiki Loves Film 2026
Wiki Loves Film 2026 is a Central European challenge dedicated to films, cinema, and filmmakers. The 2026 edition takes place from July 1st to September 30th, 2026. For the full overview of the initiative, visit the main project page.

How to participate
[edit]- Edit-a-thon: Join the main online edit-a-thon on Wednesday, August 12th, 2026 from 4PM CET (link)
- Register: Use the Register button at the top of this page to officially join the challenge.
- Edit and upload: During July 1st – September 30th, 2026, you can:
- Edit existing articles in various languages.
- Create new articles from the list of proposed articles. Any articles about films, filmmakers, TV series, or the history of cinema will be part of the competition.
- Upload photos of filmmakers, producers, and institutions.
- Upload videos related to film.
- Use the hashtag: Add #wikifilm to your edit summaries!
The challenge is open to participants from the CEE region. Full eligibility criteria and competition rules are available on the Rules page.
