Wikidata is turning 13 this year! As part of this celebration, the Wiki Advocates Philippines will be hosting an edit-a-thon on Wikidata lexemes particularly in Central Bikol language. We believe that this is a significant step in preserving our linguistic heritage while also supporting the development of tools such as Lexica. Join us in enhancing the visibility and discoverability of Central Bikol words and their meanings and making language data machine-readable and open for everyone.

🎯Goals and Scope

  • Our primary goal: To reach the 2,000th/2,500th entry in Central Bikol Lexemes
  • What we will work on:
    • Creating new lexemes for specific words from a pre-defined list.
    • Adding or improving "senses" (meanings) for existing lexemes.
    • Adding or correcting "forms" (different grammatical forms like plural, singular, verb tenses).
    • Adding and verifying references for lexemes.
