A two-day workshop celebrating the 13th birthday of Wikidata is planned at Kannur University (Swami Anandatheertha Campus, Payyannur), Kerala. Organized by Wikimedians of Kerala User Group in collaboration with OSM Kerala.The event will held in conjunction with the State of the Map Kerala 2025. Together, we will explore the potential of open data, geospatial mapping, and collaborative knowledge-sharing.

Learn about the basics of Wikidata, including its structure and how it differs from other Wikimedia projects.

• Data Contribution Sessions:

Participate in guided activities to contribute data to Wikidata and understand best practices for editing and maintaining entries.

• OSM Integration Workshops:

Discover how to leverage Wikidata for enriching OpenStreetMap data, enhancing geographic information systems.

• Community Building:

Engage with fellow Wikimedians and OSM contributors to foster collaboration and share experiences.

• Celebration Events:

Join us for a special celebration of 13th Birthday of Wikidata.
