Event:Wikimedians of Kerala/Malayalam Wikivoyage Meetup
Wikimedians of Kerala User Group is currently focusing on bringing the Malayalam Wikivoyage project out of the Wikimedia Incubator and into its official launch phase. Following the success of the Palakkad workshop, the community has initiated monthly meetups specifically for editors interested in travel writing and geographic documentation
Meetup Details
[edit]- Host: Wikimedians of Kerala User Group.
- Target Audience: Existing Malayalam Wikipedia editors, travel enthusiasts, photographers, and new volunteers interested in open-source travel guides.
- Frequency: Monthly (often held on the second Saturday or Sunday of the month).
- Mode: Hybrid (Online via Google Meet and occasional offline workshops are also planned).
Primary Objective: To meet the "active community" and "content depth" requirements set by the Wikimedia Language Committee to move the project from Incubator to ml.wikivoyage.org
