The EduWiki Knowledge Showcases are a community support space that provides an inclusive and equitable platform for members of the Wikipedia & Education User Group, as well as educators and Wikimedians worldwide, to showcase Wikimedia education projects, activities, workshops, or case studies of completed education initiatives. It also offers a space for EduWiki community members to connect and learn virtually.
This March 2026 edition will highlight Wikimedia education initiatives in the ESEAP, CEE, and MENA regions. Presenters Anton Protsiuk, Program Coordinator at Wikimedia Ukraine, and Dr. Walaa Abdel Manaem, Lecturer and Wikimedia leader at Cairo University, will share insights from their respective country programs, focusing on innovative approaches to Wikimedia education and community engagement.
The session will also feature creative submissions from community members, providing a platform for short, inspiring contributions. Participants will have the opportunity to learn, ask questions, and exchange ideas on fostering education and engagement through Wikimedia projects.
