The Kerala Literature Festival (KLF) is an annual, non-exclusive literary event held on the Kozhikode Beach in Kerala, India, and is considered Asia's largest literary festival. The 9th edition of the festival took place from January 22-25, 2026.
As part of the global celebrations marking 25 years of Wikipedia, the Wikimedia community in Kerala is organizing Wikipedia 25 celebration in different places in India to reflect on Wikipedia’s journey, celebrate community contributions, and strengthen local participation in the free knowledge movement. The event is celebrated along with the Kerala Literature Festival at Kozhikode Beach from 21st Jan 2026 to 25th Jan 2026.
This event brings together Wikimedians, open knowledge enthusiasts, students, educators, and the general public to celebrate Wikipedia’s impact in India and explore ways to contribute meaningfully to its future
Wikipedia 25 Kiosk
[edit]The Wikimedians of Kerala User Group with the help of KeralaFOSS Collective hosting an interactive stall at the Kerala Literature Festival (KLF) 2026. Managed by dedicated Wikipedia volunteers, this is a space to interact, discuss the movement, connect with the community, and collect exclusive Wikipedia 25 memorabilia.
