Wikipedia's global virtual birthday party is available to watch back on YouTube and Wikimedia Commons.
De celebration lineup dey include
- A kickoff countdown: A 15-minute pre-party, wey dey start at 15:45 UTC, plus Wikipedia trivia den birthday wishes from around de globe. Cam early den get warmed up!
- A tour thru 25 years of collaboration at ein best: Watch how na de 300+ language Wikipedias grow since na dem born Wikipedia a quarter-century ago plus de simple phrase "Hello, World!"
- An ode to de talk page: Honoring de debates, detours, den consensus-building wey dey make Wikipedia... Wikipedia.
- Musical performances: Pieces created with Wikipedia and Wikimedia content, composed for the editors powering the projects.
- Wikipedia games: A chance to test your knowledge to win freshly minted, special-edition Wikipedia 25 merch.
- Spotlights on Wikipedians everywhere: Stories from across regions and generations.
- Special guest appearances: Because every great birthday needs a few unexpected cameos and some longtime favorites.

Live interpretation
The party will be live interpreted into Arabic, Chinese, French, Portuguese, and Spanish.
How to join
The party streamed on the Wikimedia Foundation website in six languages – Arabic, Chinese, French, English, Portuguese and Spanish.
Viewers also had the option of streaming on Wikipedia’s YouTube channel, though that channel was only available in English.
Both channels will have a chat and opportunities to win prizes!
