Super workshop topic and a question

[edit]

Hello, I am delighted to see this workshop being offered and am unable to attend. I am wondering if it is possible to offer a recording of the presentation (perhaps just the presenter or slides could be recorded ?)

OR is it possible to see a copy of the transcription or a summary of the resources, questions explored so that I can catch up afterwards?

I am wondering which philosophical approaches to communication / navigating conflict are explored in the talk?

Is it workshop about where to go in the Wikipedia universe for mediation support?

Or is it a brainstorming session workshop catered to the participants' needs, questions etc.?

Marshall Rosenberg's practices of nonviolent communication which can be very useful in de-escalation and having productive conversations/respectful exchanges.

Thank you so much for proposing this workshop! Very thoughtful and caring of you all to do so.

Ever warmly from an inquiring mind,

Hi there, thanks for the question! As per the event information we're not recording the session, but will be creating an e-booklet summarising the main learning points for circulation after the event. We'll have presentations about different approaches to navigating challenging areas, then a Q&A with the speakers, and then after the break we're having breakout rooms to discuss. All of this will be summarised in the e-booklet. So a little of both! Hope that helps. Sara Thomas (WMUK) (talk) 12:47, 5 January 2026 (UTC)Reply
