Feminism&Folklore 2026

Feminism and Folklore 2026 in the Yoruba community is an international writing contest organized at Wikipedia annually to document folk cultures and women in folklore.

The basic aim of the competition is to collect articles on human cultural diversity in the worldwide free encyclopedia Wikipedia. This year we focus on emphasizing feminism, women biographies, and gender-focused topics within the broader theme of Wiki Loves Folklore.

The Yoruba Wikimedians started participating in 2025, and we have added a used this contest to create multiple new articles and improve existing ones on the Yoruba Wikipedia to foster the true aspect of our culture and histories on the global wiki loves movement.
