Description
English: This sculpture dating back to 13th century is from Government Museum and Art Gallery Chandigarh. In this image, the goddess is standing in tribhanga, which means her body is bent at three points: the neck, waist and knee. The goddess is also adorned with ample jewels and ornaments, and a high crown that she wears on her head. She holds a lotus in her right hand, while her left is held elegantly on her side.
