For theywere a musical family, and knew what theywere about, when they sang a Glee or Catch,I can assure you : especially Topper, whocould growl away in the bass like a good one,and never swell the large veins in his fore-head, or get red in the face over it. Scroogesniece played well upon the harp ; and playedamong other tunes a simple little air (a merenothing : you might learn to whistle it in tv/ominutes), which had been familiar to the childwho fetched Scrooge from the boarding-school, as he had been reminded by the Ghostof Christmas Past.
