Description
English: Paita is located on a small peninsula south of the mouth of the Rio Chira. Paita has one of the best natural harbours of the Peruvian coast. The Venus had sailed to Paita on 3/6/38 and remained eleven days, then made for the Galapagos Islands. Rare panorama on tow separate sheets of Paita, Voyage Autour du Monde sur La Venus 1836-1839.
