English: The “Report on requirements for usage and reuse statistics for GLAM content” is part of the Europeana GLAMTools project, a joint Wikimedia Chapters and Europeana project. The purpose of the project is to develop a scalable and maintainable system for mass uploading (open) content from galleries, libraries, archives and museums (henceforth GLAMs) to Wikimedia Commons and to create GLAM-specific requirements for usage statistics. The GLAMTools project is initiated and made possible by financial support from Wikimedia France, Wikimedia UK, Wikimedia Netherlands, and Wikimedia Switzerland.
Maarten Zeinstra (user:Martsniez) from Kennisland wrote the research behind this report and the report itself. Kennisland is a Dutch think tank active in the cultural sector, working especially with open content, dissemination of cultural heritage and copyright law and is also a partner in the project.
