English: Seattle - East entrance of the Mount Baker Tunnel under construction, 1939. This is now how Interstate 90 enters Seattle from Lake Washington. The tunnel is on the National Register of Historic Places; Lacey V. Murrow Bridge and East Portals of the Mount Baker Tunnels have city landmark status. Item 73285, Lake Washington Floating Bridge Construction Album (Record Series 2613-11), Seattle Municipal Archives. Seattle Municipal Archives changed its URL scheme circa 2022; the older URLs beginning with "clerk" are deprecated, and will eventually fail. The following search should find item number 73285 in their new database:
