Français : Le 18 septembre, deux membres de l'exécutif de Wikimédia Canada et deux archivistes de Bibliothèque et Archives nationales du Québec (BAnQ) sont invités à Bibliothèque et Archives Canada (BAC) pour présenter les projets GLAM effectués à BAnQ depuis les 3 dernières années : téléversement des fonds d'archives dans Commons, transcription d'ouvrages et de manuscrits dans Wikisource, les scan-a-thon et l'enregistrement vocal dans Lingua Libre. Une quarantaine d'archivistes à travers le Canada assistaient à la présentation soit sur place, soit par visioconférence. Ensuite s'en est suivit d'un diner-conférence où la direction de BAC a pu poser des questions à WMCA et BAnQ afin de démarrer les projets GLAM du bon pied.
English: On September 18, two members of the Wikimedia Canada Executive and two Archivists of the BAnQ are invited to Library and Archives Canada (BAC) to present the GLAM projects carried out at BAnQ for the past 3 years: uploading of archives in Commons, transcription of books and manuscripts in Wikisource, scan-a-thon and voice recording in Lingua Libre. About forty archivists from across Canada attended the presentation either on site or by videoconference. Then came a dinner-conference where the management of LAC was able to ask questions to WMCA and BAnQ in order to start the GLAM projects the right way. |
