When you shrink the logo, you can't see what it is. - user:zanimum

Excellent design, but it might be impractical for a logo, since the details might not be well seen when shrinked. -XXX

Quite excellent overall -- nice historical, scholarly feel -- the compass globe evokes a navigation sense. Youre obviously a professional. :) Consider that it needs to fit into a 150x150 pixel space. At that rate the above comment is correct. -Stevertigo 20:17 2 Aug 2003 (UTC)

Excellent!

I say it is not very good. In other words, horrible. -- en:user:InternationalBLT

ah sooo obvious - the person probarly just find some unused art he did a while back and just typed wikipedia next to the image... wow very creative indeed,...not. and the type is very weak, common people i wanna see some effort! some real ideas for the sole purpose of creating a orginal wikipedia logo. be honest with yourself! start from zero.

Very attractive--I love the type face and the overall "clean"ness of the design. However, the comments re: readability/recognizability when shrunk are on the mark. -Chirael

I love that creature's curve! Very car-like. Great graphics. But I don't know how it symbolizes Wikipedia. --Menchi 08:32, 23 Aug 2003 (UTC)

It's a great image, but I don't think it scales well. -- Jake Nelson 03:29, 28 Aug 2003 (UTC)

Very beautiful and very, very pointless. Renke
