This event is part of Wikimedia CH's GLAM Programme. It enables cultural institutions to collaborate with volunteer contributors and Wikimedia CH. These events provide an opportunity to witness the institution's collections and activities and to create new content for the various Wikimedia projects.
GLAM-on-Tour is promoted by Wikimedia CH in partnership with the Archivio di Stato del Cantone Ticino (State Archive) and in collaboration with the research area "Culture and territory" of the Institute of design at SUPSI, Who writes his_tory? and PANCH/Revolving Histories, and with the bibliographic support of the Cantonal Library Ticino. The event will be held in Italian-English, facilitating languages are French and German. There will be no translations but volunteers are free to use gadgets to support themselves to follow inputs. Contributions may be made in any language.
Travel and accommodation costs will be covered by the Wikimedia chapters. Meals will be paid by Wikimedia CH, with the exception of the welcome drink, which will be provided by the institution.
