Cultural Visits in Lisbon

Join us for special cultural tours during GLAM Wiki 2025!

As part of the official conference program, participants will have the opportunity to explore Lisbon’s rich cultural landscape through guided visits to museums, archives, libraries, artist studios, and heritage sites.

Whether before, during, or after the conference, these tours offer a chance to connect with local culture, history, and art—and they’re free for registered conference participants (pre-registration required).

Cemitério dos Prazeres (Cemetery of Prazeres)

Created in 1833, Prazeres Cemetery is one of Lisbon’s most striking heritage sites, home to some of Portugal’s most important mausoleums, including the Palmela Mausoleum — the largest private mausoleum in Europe.
