GLAM Wiki Ambassadors Switzerland
Introduction
Wikipedia Cultural Ambassadors are professionally trained and competent volunteers for questions about Wikipedia, digital cultural heritage and community-based cooperation formats with institutions. They build bridges between the volunteer community of Wikimedia projects, Wikimedia organisations and cultural and heritage institutions.
They are the link between GLAM institutions, volunteers and Wikimedia Switzerlands GLAM-Team.
Purpose
The Cultural Ambassadors build bridges between the volunteer community of Wikimedia projects, Wikimedia organisations and cultural and heritage institutions. They are familiar with Wikimedia projects (e.g., Wikipedia, Wikidata, and Wikimedia Commons) and digital tools for content creation, editing, and curation.
