Ghanaian Languages Wikimedia Community Meetup 2025 is the third edition of the annual mini-conference that brings together contributors working on indigenous Ghanaian language Wikipedias and Wikimedia projects.
The meetup provides a platform for language Wikimedians to share ideas, strengthen collaboration, and develop strategies for preserving local languages on Wikimedia projects. It also offers an avenue for peer learning, skill-building, and community development and to address common challenges faced by indigenous language communities.
Objectives
- Build capacity for contributors working on Ghanaian language Wikimedia projects
- Improve the growth of indigenous language content on Wikimedia platforms
- Connect and strengthen collaboration among Ghanaian language Wikimedians
- Turn ideas into action through shared learning and planning
