Note that only Wikimedians residing in Ghana and actively contributing to Ghanaian language Wikimedia projects are eligible for a scholarship to attend the 2025 Ghanaian Languages Wikimedia Community Meetup!
The Ghanaian Languages Wikimedia Community Meetup 2025 will be held in Kumasi, and aims to bring together contributors working on indigenous Ghanaian language Wikipedias and Wikimedia projects. The Scholarship Program offers a limited number of in-person scholarships to support travel, accommodation, and participation for eligible community members. This edition of the meetup is made possible through a joint grant contribution from Wikimedia Ghana User Group and Dagbani Wikimedians User Group.

Important Dates
[edit]The anticipated timeline for the 2025 Scholarship Program is as follows:
- Scholarship applications open: 1 August 2025
- Deadline for scholarship applications: 30 August 2025
- Applicants notified of decisions: By 10 September 2025
- Final list of recipients published: By 12 September 2025
