Organize a call

Thank you for your interest in organizing a GLAM call! Regular calls are arranged one of two times (8:00 UTC or 13:30 UTC), once a month, and last 90 minutes. You can submit your request via the contact form.

Join the Telegram group

After you request to organize a call, you can join the GLAM call organizers' Telegram group to introduce yourself and discuss the time and topics of your preferred call.

Prepare topics or focus areas

As the host you can help select topics or a theme to focus on. There is a database of proposals and requests, or you can add your own.

Prepare a check-in question

A check-in question is a light-weight question to ask everyone in the call, by posting their answer in the chat and introducing themselves. It’s also a way for newcomers to feel welcomed and comfortable. It can be something GLAM related (what artist did you discover recently?) or not (what color is your mood today?).
