Why did you change your name?[edit]

From 2012 to 2015, our team worked specifically on Wikipedia Zero partnerships across emerging markets to address affordability, hence we were called the Wikipedia Zero team. But starting in 2016, the scope of our work has expanded. We are now working on a much wider range of strategic partnerships not only to address affordability, but to overall address lack of Wikipedia awareness and access in emerging markets. Therefore, our name has changed to the Global Reach team.

Are you working with "Global North"?[edit]

No. Our mission is to expand Wikipedia’s footprint in emerging countries.
