16: The Wikimedia Foundation announced the appointment of Raju Narisetti to its Board of Trustees for a term of three years effective October 2017.
13: The Funds Dissemination Committee invites you to review any or all submitted proposals for Annual Plan Grants during this community review period (1–30 October 2017).
11: Wikimedia Commons will be in read only mode for approximately 30 minutes on Wednesday, 11 October, starting at 6:00 UTC.

18.04 - 18.05: UNESCO Challenge around the UNESCO World Heritage sites.
16: The total number of edits on all Wikimedia wikis has recently passed the 3 billion mark. See this page for the current total.
7 - 20: The second round of voting to select Wikimedia Commons' 2016 Picture of the Year is open. Vote before April 20.
7 - 20: The Wikimedia Foundation Elections Committee is accepting self-nominations for the 2017 Wikimedia Foundation Board of Trustees Elections. It is also accepting questions to the candidates.
1-30: Comment on 5 annual plans of Wikimedia related organizations, including the Wikimedia Foundation's, until April 30 to help the Funds Dissemination Committee make decisions about how to best spend funds to support Wikimedia's mission.
1: Join the discussion to start defining the future role of Wikimedia in the world as part of the 2017 Movement strategy process.
