- BEYOND SPEAKING: THE ART OF WRITING DAGBANI
CORE GOAL To bridge the gap between oral fluency and writing fluency in Dagbani by developing Dagbani Wikipedia into a high quality, standardized digital resources. PLAN The project will train the Dagbani community of volunteers in Wikipedia editing and Dagbani orthography. This team will then collaboratively create, translate and edit 200 articles focused on Dagbani culture, history, and geography, starting with a list of essential topics. Impact The initiative will preserve cultural knowledge, improve digital Dagbani literacy, create a valuable educational tool and empower the community to control their language's digital presence. Needs Key resources include; volunteer editors, reliable internet access, training materials and reference sources.
