List of all Art Nouveau (Jugenstil) architecture in the world

This project should result in a tree of wikipages with lists of Art Nouveau architecture all over the world. Top page should be 'Art Nouveau Architecture in the World' with a possibility to select a continent. Next page will allow the user to select a country, and then the next page will allow to select a city. "Bottom pages" will list the addresses per city. These lists should include basic information (address, architect, year) and possibly be linked to individual pages per address containing the detailed information of that particular object. Also, where possible, all pages should be linked to relevant pages that already exist on the Art Nouveau related subjects (art, literature, music, crafts etc.)

What is the problem you're trying to solve?

World wide, a lot of old buildings have already been demolished to make place for new ones. Relatively recent, people started to understand the value of old buildings, and now they are trying to recue as many of the oldest ones as possible. But... Art Nouveau architecture is still relatively new, and it looks different in every country, so not many people are able to recognise Art Nouveau architecture as such. And that creates the huge risk that lots of Art Nouveau buildings will be demolished. Before we know it, it will be too late to save the heritage from this particular period in time.

What is your solution?

I am planning on creating 'a tree' of wikipages listing all Art Nouveau buildings in the world. The 'tree' will be a framework and Art Nouveau lovers from all over the world will be able to help by adding Art Nouveau buildings in their area! I have a huge Art-Nouveau-lovers-network through social media and I intend to call for help on this project. In the end, it will be a joint effort to make this list a success!

Goals

As an independant scholar and true lover of Art Nouveau architecture, I have made it my personal goal to educate our generation about our Art Nouveau heritage. We need to save it for ourselves, and the future generations. I wish to be able to build this list, so that anyone in the world, who is involved in decision making, will be able to recognise a building as Art Nouveau heritage and save it from being demolished. A great side effect of this Wikiproject is that it will stimulate tourism to the buildings (and cities) listed and make decision makers more willing to save Art Nouveau heritage.
