Wikipedia in Schools

To spread the awareness, the best mediums are School going Children, and best channels are Schools. We should create awareness between, the kids who go to schools, they will also bring in other groups like parents, and other people who are not yet aware. This will be basically a chain reaction. To my understanding, making kids aware, is pillar for better future, because as they grow up, and meet other people in their life, this awareness will increase in multitudes.

Who are the people you want to introduce Wikipedia to?

Students from the Schools (Small, Medium, High)

In what languages do they search for information, online or otherwise?

Mostly English, although regional people tend to search in their respective languages.

In what ways does this group communicate with each other?

This can include services and apps in social media, mailing lists, physical spaces like conferences or lectures, or at specific institutions like at a library.
Facebook is the biggest medium, after WhatsApp.

What are some reasons this group would use Wikipedia? How would they benefit from it, or what would they find useful?

Think about what they would be interested in reading and learning about; does Wikipedia provide better access to information this group cares about?
There is a huge disparity between children and teachers. This is case for both quantity and quality. Often, reading by own on Wiki, makes a topic more clear, than listening to teacher. There are good teacher but they are not enough.

Often, text books make, students nervous and there is no extend link provided to a particular topic, which an student might like to understand, at this point of time Wikipedia, keeps showing links to go further deep into the topic, making topics far more interesting.

For starters, if they we try to peek their interest in academics, things which are taught in schools, and for which sometimes they hesitantly don't ask to their teachers. By this they can develop the urgency to seek the knowledge.

A simple presentation, which will involve their daily routine syllabus, and how easily they find the info on wikipedia
