More to learn

[edit]

Further details about what I would like to learn.

I'd like to learn how to host and organize Wikimedia projects as well as how to write proposals for Wikimedia grants and coordinate volunteers to increase the number of Wikipedia editors

Stories about sharing

[edit]

Interesting stories about applying the skills I want to share.

I'll like to teach Event organising (Project management)

I've:

1. Spearheaded and managed the project PAD A girl which empowered 192 teenage girls of Ilorin west junior and senior secondary school, Osin Aremu. I drafted the project plan, and budget, communicated with stakeholders and boarded volunteers for the project. Harnessing the power of delegation and Agile methodology. I successfully saw to the implementation of this project; effectively allocated budget for resource mobilization and programme logistics.

2. Coordinated and managed teams during project 1000 Youth Summit, a virtual programme organized by Youth Arise Africa. From the planning to the execution and evaluation, I ensured timely management and team coordination. By harnessing strategic relationships, organizational and communication skills I successfully contracted professional speakers to teach over 300 African Youths during this summit.

3. Coordinated and managed Project 'Become A Better You,' a virtual youth development programme that empowered over 700 African Youths on self-leadership and personal development. I harnessed the power of team building as the major team player to bring about a successful implementation of the project.
