- 1. What is the change that you are trying to bring about and why is this important.
I am a member of the SA Regional Grants committee. During our application review process, I came across the application from Karavali Wiki group. They have applied for grant to preserve their own native culture..It was a good attempt towards open knowledge creation movement.
- 2. Describe your main approaches or strategies to achieve these changes and why you think they will be effective.
As a researcher of Indian Culture and Tradition, I shared few ideas with the team. I was a script writer of one short film which was based on Culture of Maharashtra and it was award winning short film. I want to use my very own experience and knowledge with these members who are truly doing good job regarding preservation of culture. During the month of April this team is going to shoot some important movements during their very special festival named Siddhavesha.I want to become a part of this festival and willing to share my own knowledge with them to enhance the quality their project. It will take place in Manglore during 4-7 April 2023. I stay at Pune and I want to visit Manglore to experience this festival and want to strengthen bonds with Karavali team.I am in touch with Mr.Bharathesha.We all had a online meeting earlier where we shared some thoughts and ideas.It was good intellectual churning.

I had a experience that many people are engaged with their own priorities and my own research is based on Culture.So I just want to take an opportunity to be with people wo are trying their best to preserave their own culture. Learning, Sharing, and Evaluation I have an expertise with Indian cultural studies. I want to share my knowledge and thoughts for another wiki community .It will be surely a good collaborative work.
Our work will continuously go on with Karavali team after my visit. This will be a unique experiment where a Researcher like me at the same time a wikimedian from Marathi Community will join hands with other Indian Language Community for betterment of Wiki platforms.
