As a compliance to its commitment to the foundation directions during the last grant, the Jordanian Digital Arabic Content Association (JDACA) has adopted a clear expansion plan. By doubling its partnerships with universities and schools, the association has broadened its reach and impact across the country. JDACA now works with four universities, including the Jordan University of Science and Technology, Mutah University, Hashemite University, and Amman Arab University, and has expanded its school collaborations to a total of eight schools. This growth is not just a matter of numbers; it's a strategic move to enhance the association's governance and transparency. To manage its expansion in activities and facilitate outreach to the partner universities and schools, JDACA established two new branches in Amman and Irbid and created dedicated administrative committees for each one. This decentralized approach ensures that the association's efforts adheres with the movement strategy with focus on education programs and community needs. The results of these education programs in 2024 was promising. The association proudly reported that it exceeded its targets, with a total of 3.38K articles created, 23.9K articles edited, and a 92.9K total edits. This immense effort added 33.2M bytes of new content to the Wikimedia projects. However, the journey has not been without its challenges. The association has faced bureaucratic hurdles detailed in the annual report. The board's strategy to overcome these issues has been proactive, with members holding continuous meetings and even covering their own transportation fees to ensure the work progresses.the association addressed the difficulty of hiring experienced accountants by raising the salary, which was previously below the minimum wage, and by adding the role of internal auditor to the position. Navigating new government regulations was another obstacle. When a new decision in 2024 required a license for trainers to train in schools, the board swiftly directed its coordinator to use social media channels for training until the license was obtained. The association is also working to restore its foundational partnership with Hashemite University, which was affected by administrative changes and the pandemic. The plan is to resume in-person workshops to re-engage students and renew the official Memorandum of Understanding with the new administration.
